On the morning following a Fat Tuesday celebration in Austin, a young woman’s body was found on fire with the flames shooting several feet up into the air. 21-year-old Christy Lynn Espinosa was found to have been killed before she was burned. A married couple quickly became accused of murdering and setting fire to the body and both told investigators a variety of stories about her death, and each blamed the other. Who was to blame and what really happened in this grisly Mardi Gras murder?

September 17th, 2009 Mitrice Richardson was released from Lost Hills Sheriff Station and wandered off into the night, never to be seen again. When she was eventually found, a botched investigation cast doubt on the story that the LASD had told her family when she first disappeared.
