The Mysterious Death of Elisa Lam

January 31st, 2013 Elisa Lam was supposed to check out of the Hotel Cecile, but no one had seen her. All that was left of her, besides her stuff, was a video from the elevator in the hotel that was grainy and kind of unexplained. A few days after the video aired, Elisa’s body was found in the water tanks on top of the hotel. Many thought it was a suicide, but others thought it was the hotel claiming yet another victim.
