Katelin Akens was visiting her family in Fredericksburg, VA in December of 2015. On Dec 5th, she was supposed to take a plane back to her fiance in Arizona. Katelin never made it onto that plane and the last person who ever saw her is refusing to talk. This week, Amber and Alex talk about the disappearance and the hole that Katelin’s vanishing has left in her families lives. January 31st, 2013 Elisa Lam was supposed to check out of the Hotel Cecile, but no one had seen her. All that was left of her, besides her stuff, was a video from the elevator in the hotel that was grainy and kind of unexplained. A few days after the video aired, Elisa’s body was found in the water tanks on top of the hotel. Many thought it was a suicide, but others thought it was the hotel claiming yet another victim.
